چکیده

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMFs) could be used to sustainably improve crop yields. The present study evaluated the diversity of AMF species associated with soybean (Glycine max L. Merill) in main soybean-producing areas Benin. Composite soil samples from 13 production at a rate 04 villages per were collected. A spore trapping device was set up reveal spores. physical and chemical properties soils, frequency intensity mycorrhization roots, spores determined following trapping. As result, eight morphotypes belonging four genera: Glomus, Acaulospora Gigaspora Disversispora three families: Diversisporales, Glomérales Paraglomérales observed. An important variability densities observed one another higher abundance Copargo estimated 3584 spores/100g soil. biological indexes as Shannon (0.0311), Simpson (0.0204) Hill (0.0235), varied significantly (p < 0.05) another. There significant correlation between parameters studied, particularly physico-chemical soils indexes. For parameters, mycorhization frequencies did not vary another, unlike intensities, which (2.31% 24.62%). Finally, this revealed that had an influence on other studied. Moreover, there diversification AMFs different areas, are influenced by certain parameters.

Diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal spores associated with Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz

This study aimed to investigate the diversity and types of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) associated with the wild service tree, Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz in spring and autumn followed by identifying similarities among the different study sites. Three different sites were selected including Kheiroud, Lalis, and Tarkin, in the Hyrcanian forests, north of Iran. Five rhizosphere soil sampl...

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Alien Plant Species

The invasion success of alien plant species depends, amongst other things, on their functional traits [4] and the susceptibility of ecosystems. There is now increasing interest in including biotic interactions particularly mutualistic associations [5], into frameworks assessing alien plant invasions, as they help bridge the invisibility and invasiveness features. The great majority of terrestri...

Diversity of Rhizosphere Soil Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Various Soybean Cultivars under Different Continuous Cropping Regimes

Recent studies have shown that continuous cropping in soybean causes substantial changes to the microbial community in rhizosphere soil. In this study, we investigated the effects of continuous cropping for various time periods on the diversity of rhizosphere soil arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi in various soybean cultivars at the branching stage. The soybean cultivars Heinong 37 (an intermed...

Diversity of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Their Roles in Ecosystems

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have mutualistic relationships with more than 80% of terrestrial plant species. This symbiotic relationship is ancient and would have had important roles in establishment of plants on land. Despite their abundance and wide range of relationship with plant species, AMF have shown low species diversity. However, molecular studies have suggested that diversity of...

Species of plants and associated arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi mediate mycorrhizal responses to CO2 enrichment

It has been suggested that enrichment of atmospheric CO2 should alter mycorrhizal function by simultaneously increasing nutrient-uptake benefits and decreasing net C costs for host plants. However, this hypothesis has not been sufficiently tested. We conducted three experiments to examine the impacts of CO2 enrichment on the function of different combinations of plants and arbuscular mycorrhiza...
